Awesome Parenting

JW fell asleep on the way home from Grandpa Ted's house tonight. That was at about 8:30 PM and it is now 11 PM. I keep expecting him to wake up, but NO. He is quite content in his car seat. He can't possibly be comfortable, can he?

What to do...? Leave him there until he realizes how much he HATES his car seat and screams for me to get him out? Wake him to change his must-be-oh-so-wet britches and get him into some comfy pjs? I'm sleepy too. Maybe I'll just go to bed. I sure as heck am not going to sleep in this chair waiting for him stir and waking him could be disasterous. Sorry kid. Looks like you're sleeping in your car seat tonight.

We've done that before...in fact, Jacie slept in her car seat or swing most nights because of her reflux...so our dr. actually encouraged it. Hey, he's safe and secure right?!

I like your ways Rebekah! Never wake a sleeping baby.

He slept like a champ. He did wake up around 4am, but after a little food and change into pjs, this rockstar slept for another 3.5hours (in his bed)!
